The Faculty of Languages comprises the Department of Chinese, the Department of English and the Centre for Language in Education, with some 130 teaching and research staff. Our Faculty offers a number of language-related undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We currently invite applications to the following programmes for the September 2012 intake:
 
Undergraduate:

• Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Language Studies (Major in Chinese or English) (Three-year Full-time)
• Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Chinese Language) (Four-year Full-time)
• Bachelor of Education (Honours) (English Language) (Four-year Full-time)

Postgraduate:

• Master of Arts in Chinese Studies (Language Education) (One-year Full-time) / (Two-year Part-time) 
• Master of Arts in Teaching Chinese as an International Language (One-year Full-time)
• Master of Arts in Educational Linguistics and Communication Sciences (One-year Full-time) / (Two-year Part-time)
• Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language (One-year Full-time) / (Two-year Part-time)
• Postgraduate Diploma in English Studies (6-month Full-Time) (There will be no intake for the 2012-2013 academic year)
• Postgraduate Diploma in English Studies (One or Two-year Part-time)
